September 2023 Update

"Monthly Update" Thumbnail.

Another month, another silly Update post where I'm trying to think of what I can actually write down. It's still slow and quiet period. While I certainly appreciate it, I could definitely put more work into making routine more exciting overall. Just need to stop stagnating and get myself together in order to be more productive. However, this is easier said than done for whatever reason. So yeah, I'm still being weird for better or worse... Probably both.

What I'm trying to say here? I guess that this "article" will be even shorter than the previous Update. Part of me realizes that I shouldn't feel bad over the length of these texts, but at the same time I want to make it worthwhile your... Well, my time to actually write since I'm pretty sure that these posts are opened up only by bots. Perhaps I need to look back into my idea of not having these Updates be a monthly thing anymore.

Summary.

LibreSprite is still collecting digital dust on my laptop's Solid-State Drive. Yeah, I still haven't really moved forward with any other hobby outside this silly blog. Instead, I came up with a couple of "articles" as I had some thoughts on my mind about both re-releasing and Quake stuff. One fun thing I would like to mention is how Windows 11's "Change brightness based on content" option messed with me. I had it selected "On Battery Only", which led me to believe that screen differences were tied to the amount of Hz displayed on screen whenever it's plugged in (144) or not (60). Well, I do enjoy some contrast. At least I'm still putting an effort to take proper care of my current laptop.

Still playing games regularly though. Stardew Valley & Heroes of the Storm keep dominating my free time. My initial plans of returning to Terraria and/or DOOM 16 might have to be put on hold, depending on what will be revealed on Realms Deep 2023. I'm keeping my head clear on that front, no matter how enticing its hype can be. I want to take any excuse to be positive, but to a reasonable degree. So yeah, would be nice if the end of September is going to be a high note. I guess I would just have to wait and see. Same applies to Minecraft Live, obviously.

My routine did get quite busy, however. Getting a daily job does that type of thing, even though the gig itself isn't particularly hard in my opinion. Was easy to figure out things and consistency does help overall. It's no secret that any type of work bring some positive changes in person, but that was still a pleasant surprise for me in some ways. Should get my latest payment sometime today, so that's great. About to get a new headset in upcoming days since my current earphones started to act weird, and I'm just tired of them. Besides, both of my current top options include a microphone! That should help me with not only being even more social (still putting a lot of effort into it), but start practising and improving my English pronunciation since I'm terrible at it right now.

As for the blog itself, there's one "article" that would most likely be published before the next Update. I have nothing else on my mind at this moment in time. Ideally, I would like to finally make up my mind regarding Ilko's Hall moving forward around January or February next year. I'm probably taking this too seriously for a personal hobby with no audience, but it is what it is. That's just how I'm doing this, I guess.
